High Sloth Society is brought to you by Heritage DAO (HDAO) which I am a contributor to. HDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization for our cultural heritage. Powered by web3 technologies, we revolutionize the way we collect, protect, share and enjoy cultural heritage. We have a diverse group of core members in HDAO from VCs, entrepreneurs, techies, musicians, product owners, legal and artists.

HDAO is known to be the very first DAO in the history of Crypto to secure a Nation’s Treasure. HDAO seeks to reach out and connect with the nonmaterial individuals, advocates, philanthropists, and innovators that hone the cultural values of the heritages.

To do that, HDAO is introducing the High Sloth Society — The First NFT project by HDAO; a prestigious and secretive society of 10,000 elite sloths that pursue greater goods with missions to preserve and hone the essence of human heritage.

What is Sharding Capital? What goals does the High Sloth Society set for itself and what results does it want to achieve by holding such a meeting?

What Nations Treasure means in this case? Can you explain?

Right, so

It all started with this unfortunate story — Due to Covid-19, the very first private art museum in Korea was forced to put two (2) National Treasures out for an auction out of devastation. This is the very first time in the history of Korea to see such treasures out for a transaction.

We heard about this incident 4 days before the auction day and decided to address this in a Web 3.0 way. So, HeritageDAO was initiated just 4 Days before the Auction, ended up raising 900+ ETH and securing a National Treasure in 8 days while raising awareness about this incident across millions of people worldwide.

Now that we have secured our first human heritage, we are going to celebrate the official beginning of the journey of HDAO in the form of a High Sloth Society — and we are inviting you to join us as a member.

Going through your material, It seemed like HSS (High Sloth Society) is as a result of collaboration between projects which includes; Heritage DAO(HDAO), Crayon DAO and High Sloth Society (HSS). I am not quite clear on this. Can you explain about these three project names that was mentioned? Is HSS as a result of collaboration between HDAO and Crayon DAO? What is the role/function of each project mentioned above? Furthermore, I observed that CrayonDAO has its own cryptocurrency ($CRAY).. Will HSS by any chance make use of the $CRAY tokens or will HSS have its own cryptocurrency?

This is a great question that i want to answer in 2 parts.

1 — what we said about the non-material individuals, i was specifically referring to core members that may want to extend their business to add value to HSS.

Revenue model of HSS is to create more values and reasons for people to buy HSS. Therefore, it is our primary focus for us to stay sharp on developing partnerships with HSS members that’s willing to be creative and add value to the HSS.

2 — the rest of the HSS are community that believe in us enough to the extent that they invest in us early in the game and HODL. Obviously, with #1 above, we plan to add more values to HSS so that you can hopefully realize material gains on top of all the benefits we ship.

We encourage each of our members to create their own story with the sloth owned. As a fellow member of the Society, we strive to support your journey.

We have partners already but some are yet to be announced, therefore we will give you a good example here.

For example, we have a Brooklyn-originated distillery that distills Soju in the traditional way, namely Tokki Soju (https://tokkisoju.com/#about-tokki).

As one of the members of a High Sloth Society, they have a plan to introduce a High Sloth Line of Soju, Gin, Vodka, and Whiskey in their own ways.

With the ownership and commercial rights granted to them, they have no problem carrying this forward and we believe that this gives a sense of belonging to other members of the society.

Therefore, it’s only natural for other High Sloths to support them as well.

I saw that your project is backed by three distinguished firms including animoca brands, Brinc and assemble.can you tell us more about this firms? In what ways do they show support to CRAYON DAO? Does the support include financial support too? Is there any win-win collaboration with these firms? Do you consider them for future collaboration or is there an ongoing partnership with them? Talking of partnership, there is no information regarding this, as we know two heads are better than one, with partnership a project get to improve on more expertise and skills, so can you tell us about your partnership, is there any ongoing partnership or do you aim to include this in near future?

So, they are backing Crayon which is one of the core contributors of the HSS NFT. They are our seed investors in the early days of the Crayon when it was merely just an idea.

With Crayon serving as one of the core contributors of the HSS though, it is very much likely that we are gonna get all the supports from everyone’s network.

So, the answer is yes — do expect the supports from all the partners, advisors, mentors and partners of Crayon for HSS.

3. It is deployed on the Ethereum network

4. We support Metamask only for this event

So, get your ETH ready to secure them.

In terms of the numbers, we are still debating and the most accurate information shall be shared with you on the 14th, but we are thinking

In celebration of securing the first ancient artifact in Korea, HSS is developing a 3×3 ESTATE on the Sandbox Game with the following plans.

(i) HSS curated brands to enter with membership benefits expanding to the offline;

(iii) Curated metaverse experience spanning which expands to offline.

We have over 130+ traits under 12 different attributes at the moment.

The most interesting attribute in my opinion is the interest over ownership of the national treasure that we are assigning to 1,000 HSS off of 10,000 HSS

Due to recent success of bored Apes, most of the projects come with similar approach but unable to make the impact in Crypto NFT space. What makes high sloth society a promising project in terms of growth perspective?

Even if it doesn’t come to its full fruition, it is still worth our while to execute this. For example, KOREA was covered with news about us with 100 journalists chasing me for the entire week when the leak about us buying the treasure was out.

They now understand that DAO bought a national treasure with an intention to conduct an NFT campaign. They also understand why we donated 51% back to the original seller with physical asset under their custody. This is a solution that only WE (as in crypto incumbents) can offer.

Basically, National Treasure #73 that we secured is a portable temple that people used to carry around 1,000 years ago. Back then, Buddhism was the main religion of Korea — and people carried this to practice their religion anywhere.

With growing members, a need for a place that our members can call home grows bigger. Therefore, we wanted to secure this portable temple to symbolize a place our HSS members can call home.
