Food delivery apps charge your favorite restaurant up to 30 % commission per order. Considering this harsh reality, how does Esca Crypto manage to break this monopoly and improve the experience of both users and merchants through its DApp? Considering that these companies are a monopoly, how will they manage to break this and make Esca Crypto the number 1 platform in the food delivery service?

Great question. The fact is, online food delivery indeed is a monopoly. Beating the big guys like Just Eat and Uber Eats will be no small feet. That’s why instead of fighting against them we have partnered with them to bring more choice to foodies.
For businesses, our app allows them to analyse what platforms are most popular for their clientele and understand which ones drive the most profitability. In addition to that, with our “active financing” we are actively helping these food business owners make more money per transaction than ANY of their current aggregator partners. No need for loans and they get to keep 100% of their customers.
Our hope is that once we’ve shown these business owners the true value of crypto cashback (active financing) they will switch to using us over our integrated partners.

There are three key features of your platform, Eat to Earn, Sell to Earn, and Play to Earn. To participate in all these events, do we need to hold a certain amount of $ESCA? For example, can we purchase foods only with $ESCA? We all know that cryprocurrency market is highly volatile. Don’t you think that pricing the food items with $ESCA will be unprofitable for sellers? A Burger may worth 10 $ESCA this week and 50 $ESCA next week. Buyers may purchase only when the price is low. Please explain how do you manage this type of situation.

Another good question — Food on escamenu.com will not be priced in $ESCA, it will be priced in the native currency of the concerned country. Foodies however will be able to purchase food with $ESCA token hopefully by Q4 of this year but the fiat value of the food stays the same.
As for holding a certain amount of tokens, there will be no obligation on foodies to hold a certain number of tokens. You still get your crypto cashback regardless of how many tokens you have. However, the more tokens you hodl, the higher your cashback percentage per order.
We will be making an announcement on these tiers during the week to give the community a better insight into how this will work.

2% cashback for orders to our third party partners (Just Eat etc) and 5% cashback for orders from our native Esca menu vendors. Depending on the number of tokens you hold you can get up to 30% cashback per order. More on this during the week.
$ESCA is the currency received as cashback for foodies while $ESCA plus BUSD are the currencies received by food businesses. They get 7% cashback per order. We call this active financing.

Reading that it will be possible to pay for groceries with $ESCA tokens, I remember the story of pizza for 10,000 bitcoins. Explain how, for example, a restaurant will convert tokens into fiat currencies. Perhaps there is some incentive for a restaurant to hold these tokens? Is the business really ready to work with cryptocurrencies?

as previously stated the food will be priced in fiat currency your cashback will be in ESCA we will also allow conversion of esca token to stable coins such as BUSD within the app, due to deflationary nature of the token businesses will be incentivised to hold the token for longer, we have already talked to various partners and they are excited

This is a great question. Order monitoring will be done by us if the order was placed to a native Esca vendor. If the order was placed to one of our third party partners the fulfilment of said order will be the responsibility of our third party vendors. If you place an order and then ask for a refund you do not get any cashback. That’s why we have a 48 hour lead time for cashback to be given
